I'm bored with making the same old bread so decided to make this IRISH SODA BREAD.
600grms / 1. 1/2 lbs mixed flour.
300mls / 1/2 pint yoghurt and milk mixed.
1 heaped teaspoon Bi. Carb
pinch of Salt
pinch of Sugar
knead the ingredients into a soft dough
Shape into rounds an cut a cross in them
Bake in a hot oven for around 30 minutes
Foolproof and no yeast needed nor waiting time!

Oh Sheila, I'm so happy you made the Irish Soda bread. We ate it lots in Ireland and I really liked it. I will make sure to make it sometime. Thanks.
