orange cake

ORANGE CAKE
Prepare a 2lb cake tin, greased and floured. Light gas oven Gas mark 4
In a large saucepan put the following :-
2 Tablespoons Marmalade
2 Tablespoons plain Yoghourt
4 oz Butter
4 oz Sugar
Grated peel of one orange
melt GENTLY
Once cool...Beat in 2 eggs
Then add 7 oz Self raising flour
1 Teaspoon Baking powder
Beat quickly ( the Baking powder will start to work once wet)
Pour into tin and bake for at least one hour.

mix the juice of the grated Orange with some icing sugar and pour over cake whilst still in tin. take out of tin when almost cool.

Sheila, is it suppose to be orange marmalade? Also, give me some measurements for the cake tin. Ours don't come in lbs, only inches. Should I use that deep dish I used for the whiskey cake? Could take me a couple of tries getting this posted. The word below looks pretty complicated.
