In bed last night, reading Bill Bryson's "The short history of nearly everything" I laughed aloud
when I read "He was exceedingly bright but untroubled by anything as inconvenient as a scruple ". This sounds very much like someone I know!
The weather today is nithering. I want to go to the shops but daren't go out!
more later

My gosh, what are you two trying to do to me? Well, I'll be busy painting the bathrooms upstairs this weekend, so will have no time to bake bread, although, if I did have time, I'm sure it would be from scratch and have the same drooling effect on you as yours does to me.
Sheila, I saw signs of Graham having scruples when he was here.
Its a foul slander and I deny it completely, the person refered to is a journalist friend of mine a Mr. Jones. Scruples Scmuples,as he would say, or do not let the truth get in the way of a good story.
Honest Graham
